CLOV (Cravo, Lirio, Orquidea, Violeta) is a major deepwater development offshore Angola operated by Total E&P Angola. Grispen delivered lifting and rigging engineering for a package of subsea production structures associated with the field's ongoing subsea infrastructure programme.

Multi-structure lifting packages require consistent engineering methodology across varied geometries while maintaining individual structural integrity verification for each item. The challenge is delivering a coordinated, schedule-efficient package without compromising the rigour applied to any single structure's lift case.

Grispen applied a standardised lifting and rigging engineering methodology across the structure package, ensuring each item received full DNV-ST-N001 compliant analysis while benefiting from consistent documentation standards and review cycles, allowing Total's installation contractor to work from a unified, coordinated set of lift procedures.
