Project Overview

Moho Nord is a major deepwater development offshore the Republic of Congo, operated by Total. Grispen, working with Saipem, delivered installation engineering and lifting analysis for the field's subsea production template, a large, complex structure that hosts multiple well connections on the seabed.

The Engineering Challenge

Challenge

Subsea templates are among the heaviest and most structurally complex pieces of subsea infrastructure, with multiple interfaces, large footprints, and stringent landing accuracy requirements. The lifting and installation engineering must account for the structure's full mass distribution and ensure stable, predictable behaviour throughout the lowering and landing sequence.

Grispen's Solution

Solution

Grispen's team delivered the lifting analysis and installation engineering for the Moho Nord subsea template, applying our established deepwater installation methodology to verify safe lowering, landing approach, and seabed interface behaviour, supporting Saipem's offshore installation campaign with a fully certified engineering package.

Scope of Work Delivered

  • Subsea production template lifting analysis
  • Installation engineering and lowering sequence design
  • Landing approach and seabed interface verification
  • Structural load path analysis through the template

Our Delivery Process

Every Grispen engineering scope, regardless of size or client, passes through the same structured five-stage delivery method, ensuring consistent quality and full traceability from kick-off to final issue.
